SUMMARY:Troy Bike Rescue: BIKE PARTY Fun(d)raiser
DESCRIPTION:We’ve got new neighbors!!!! Welcome!! Troy Bike Rescue is moving to North Troy.  What began as a pile of old bikes and a series of parking lot workshops has evolved into a group of dedicated volunteers running and maintaining regular shops in both Albany and Troy.  This bike month\, they will be moving the Troy workshop to North Troy and holding a blowout bike party Fun(d)raiser at the Sanctuary for Independent Media to support their efforts.  The event begins with a bike rodeo for kids and adults\, followed by a silent art auction\, raffles\, dinner\, and a program of short films and music MC’d by TBRs core collective members. There will be home-cooked vegetarian food\, many artworks donated by local and regional artists\, and raffle prizes from local bike shops and other restaurants. [This event would later be dubbed BikeFest.]
