DESCRIPTION:Learn the craft of studio portraiture in a “hands-on” community workshop to create free studio portraits for North Troy families. \n\n\n\nAssist internationally-known photojournalist Brenda Ann Kenneally as she creates free studio portraits for families in in North Troy in this “Hands-on Studio Portraiture” workshop. Kenneally’s deep  connections with Upstate Girls\, and families in the North Troy community\, will form the basis of this workshop. Together\, we will celebrate the holiday season! While families wait for their turn getting their photo taken\, we’ll have arts activities in the main Sanctuary space. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBe The Media! workshops teach multimedia skills to community members in order to develop urgently needed independent local voices. Our goal is to empower the public through independent media making\, supplying them with the tools to tell their own stories through different mediums of media including video\, radio and journalism.
