DESCRIPTION:Community Radio Days are opportunities for folks to gather around the importance of community radio. Every month a different Hudson Mohawk Magazine producer leads a discussion or exercise\, and anyone is welcome to join. Topics range from how to create grassroots radio\, pursuing a story\, creating a community\, and amplifying lesser heard voices. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer producer or if you just want to be a part of community around the importance of civic journalism\, join us! \n\n\n\nHMM Community Radio Days take place on the first Monday of each month (unless it’s a holiday)\, and we serve some light food and beverages. If you are interested in joining the discussion but are remote\, please email HMM@mediasanctuary.org in advance for a zoom link. \n\n\n\nTimeline:4:00-4:30pm: arrive\, meet our producers\, get some food\, settle in4:30-5:30pm: group discussion around radio (this takes place in our basement in the colder months. DESCRIPTION:This winter and spring\, the People’s Health Sanctuary will continue hosting Healing Days at the Sanctuary main space and other venues in the region. A variety of healing modalities will be on offer\, ranging from community acupuncture and energy work to herbal remedies from the Community Apothecary. You’ll also find a nourishing one pot meal\, and a place to connect. All offerings will be donation based/sliding scale\, so pay whatever you can— and bring a friend! PHS will continue to donate 50% of all Healing Day donations to the Capital Region Sanctuary Coalition (CRSC).  \n\n\n\nSanctuary Main Space: Feb 20th\, March 6th\, and April 17th.
