Dave Barrett
Dave is a founding member of several seminal Northern California groups. This includes No Sisters, Club Foot Orchestra, Bill’s Lawn, and the Splatter Trio. He has played and recorded with the Rova Saxophone Quartet, Butch Morris, Sam Rivers, and many more. He has also composed music for film, theatre, and dance. He has also worked with poets from the Bay Area Language poetry scene like Carla Harryman, Steve Benson, and Norman Fisher. He has also appeared on labels including Black Saint, Rastascan, New World, Leo, and Music & Arts.
Michael Bisio
Bisio has appeared on over 45 CDs. He is the leader on 10 CDs and co-leads 7 duets. His first release as bandleader was In Seattle. It was chosen as one of the “Best Jazz Records of the 1980s” by the Village Voice. His upcoming releases are two Michael Bisio Quartet CDs and Not Two Labels with Connie Crothers and Old Dog and special guest, Karl Berger.
Ed Mann
Ed Mann is an award winning mallet player, percussionist, composer, and sound designer who is said to be the most recorded musician in Frank Zappa’s catalog. He has also performed and recorded with ASANI, Mark Isham, Rickie Lee Jones, Andy Summers, John Cage, and many others.
Todd Reynolds
Reynolds is a composer, conductor, arranger, and violinist who is a long term member of Bang On A Can, Steve Reich, and Musicians and Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project. He makes use of computer technology and digital loops to sculpt sounds in real time. He integrates pop, jazz, Indian, African, Celtic, and other folk music. He has appeared and recorded with many artists including Anthony Braxton, Dave Liebman, Neil Rolnick, Julia Wolfe, John King, and many others. His work also includes many different collaborations with SoundPainter Walter Thompson and other artists like Bill Morrison, Luke Dubois, and Jody Elff.
