WOOC correspondent Melissa Bromley sat down with Ada Harper to discuss the “Farming While Black” book release happening at The Sanctuary for Independent Media on Thursday, 11/1 at 7PM. Ada is helping organize the event which will feature the book’s author, Leah Penniman, as well as a number of artists, musicians and poets from the Soul Fire Farm community. Ada also discusses 518 BLK, a project she created to highlight events and opportunities for black and brown people in the Capital District.
