Last week was the first Troy City Council meeting to follow former councilman Mark McGrath’s resignation, after a recording of him using racial slurs became public. Several community members stood up to respond to McGrath’s resignation and to highlight the significant needs of his former district in North Central Troy. You’ll hear from “Justice for Dahmeek” co-founder Messiah Cooper, former councilmember Anastasia Robertson, another “Justice for Dahmeek” co-founder Luz Marquez-Benbow, and Team HERO founder Jerry Ford.
