Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Petra Höller sat down with Dr. Gwendolyn Saul, Curator of Ethnography at the New York State Museum in Albany, to talk about the tasks, challenges and joys associated with curating Indigenous art and cultural objects. Dr. Saul described her interest in expanding the collection of contemporary Indigenous art, repatriation efforts, building community relationships and upcoming initiatives at the Museum.
