“We went over the rubric very briefly, and created a collaborative Google doc “need to know” list, which we will look at and address next class. A number of kids were missing today due to bad weather/illness, so the class was a bit low energy.”
Halle’s group told me that they were eager to get their hands on some cameras and “get on with it.”
“One pattern I’ve seen is that lots of groups prefer live-action, and they are discussing how to integrate interviews, round table discussions, and real stories into the story that they want to tell with their film, which at times involves actors and scripts.”
“It was a productive day overall-we talked for a while about the treatment that is due next Tuesday- how to write it, how long it should be. The students seem to be focused and ready to start shooting!”
